Proxmox CephFS Permission Denied

We're succesfully using Ceph on Proxmox, and have started to attempt to use CephFS.
We are able to mount, and create a file, but can then not write to the file, it shows the below error:
root@<redacted>:/mnt/ceph# echo "test" > /mnt/ceph/testfile
-bash: echo: write error: Operation not permitted
root@<redacted>:/mnt/ceph# ls

Ceph Version: 17.2.7

I am currently running a Proxmox VE cluster with Ceph storage, and I would like to add a second public network to my configuration. Here is my current setup:

Unable to revert GPU passthrough

I configured passthrough for my gpu into a VM, but turns out i need hardware Accel way more then i need my singular VM using my gpu. And from testing and what i have been able to research online, i cant do both.

I have currently a well working proxmox (7.3 I think -> can confirm this later) setup with 2 main VMs.

Setup:
Debian 11 Proxmox Server
Windows 10 pro 64 bit -> Mostly for Gaming
Ubuntu 22.04 64 bit -> For working stuff
Some other VMs

Hardware:
ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus Mainboard Sockel AM4
AMD Ryzen CPU
Nvidia 980ti
Nvidia 1030 (I think -> can confirm this later)
Some ECC RAM
Bunch of disks

certain vm consoles not working in web interface

I have HAOS, MQTT, Zwave-js UI, and Z2M all in their separate VM.

The console works fine in HAOS and MQTT all the time.

Zwave and Z2M do not.

For some reason both of these do not work for a while and then it will start working.

When it does not work, I get a blank screen where I can still input but nothing happens.

I know it works when it displays root@zigbee2mqtt:~# for example

I think there's a delay in logging in? I see this line sometimes zigbee2mqtt login: root (automatic login)

Hi all, I'm considering combining my home tech into a one-machine Router/NAS/Server, with the ability for the storage to be expandable. Do you have any suggestions or input on how I best do this? Here are my thoughts so far:

Noob here, fell into the PVE rabbit hole a couple of weeks ago on my OptiPlex micro and hoping to consolidate existing hardware into a single server to save on power consumption.

Server spec:
4U chassis with space for 10x 2.5''/3.5'' drive
Ryzen pro 5750G
Asus TUF gaming x470-plus(8x SATA, 2x NVME m.2)
2 x 32GB ECC UDIMM
Quadro P2000(PCIe)

Connectivity issues with multiple VLANs

Hello,

I'm running a Ubuntu Virtual Machine on a Proxmox node and have been having experiences some strange behaviours when using multiple NICs with different VLANS.
When loading a website it will take 5-11s to load even though the server is locally hosted running nginx. It appears the time taken is related to TCP? I'm not sure what this means.
Another symptom is when connecting to the SSH it will also take a similar time 5-11s to establish a connection.
Strangely this behaviour only occurs...

CheckMK local check for monitoring backup status

Hi! I just wanted to share my script to monitor the backup status for the vms in Proxmox. It is written for use in CheckMK. You need to have the CheckMK linux client installed on proxmox. I should be easily adaptable for other systems like zabbix, nagios etc.

You need to put the script in:
/usr/lib/check_mk_agent/local/ and make it executable with chmod +x checkmk_proxmox_backup.py

Is it OK to have more than 90% used RAM with Proxmox VE on ZFS ?

I am trying to find the best config for my Proxmox on ZFS rpool. I know that ZFS eats so many RAM for caching.
When I am not limiting amount of arc in /sys/module/zfs/parameters/zfs_arc_max, sooner or later I have more than 90% of RAM used.
I have for example 64GB physical RAM, my one only VM running with 32GB RAM, so the rest is for Proxmox and ZFS.
When I setup some limits to zfs_arc_max, of course my IO going worst and backup of VM takes a much longer.

Two of the four Pvs of my VG "pve" are still present, still working (apparently) and yet, pvscan outputs:

Hi everyone, I don't seem to understand the cause of different behaviour of Proxmox container mountpoints, depending on where I create them.
Pretty new to proxmox, although have considerable experience with nix systems.

I have two storage "locations" for test purposes:
1. Is a directory type, created in Datacenter > Storage, path /spinpool/shares
2. is a ZFS on zpool directly on a hard drive

habe jetzt einen dhcpsnat eingerichtet, wo sich meine webseiten befinden, nach dieser Anleitung ( https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Setup_Simple_Zone_With_SNAT_and_DHCP )
die webseiten bekommen eine ip 10.0.0... also das funktioniert.
was muss ich einrichten damit die webseiten von aussen erreichbar sind ?
die ports in der fritzbox auf die pve ip ist eingerichtet,
