Hi All,
I trying to install Proxmox on Dell Power Edge R910 and the installation whatever in graphical or terminal UI, debug or not stop at loading drvivers.

May be I've miss something, but I can't figura out how to installa Proxmox 8.3 on Dell PowerEdge R910.

Good Moring,
My host pve machine, lost internet connection after working for several minutes, but the LXC has internet perfectly. I hope someone can hkep me with it. Here is my interfaces:

I just installed it and configured the server. I click on "Remotes -> root" & got this error
Application panicked!
Reason: panicked at /usr/share/cargo/registry/proxmox-yew-comp-0.3.6/src/rrd_graph_new.rs:637:41: index out of bounds: the len is 0 but the index is 0
refreshed the page and I clicked again & didnt see the error
Finally was able to replicate this. Click on a remote & before the CPU Usage pane loads, click on the graph area multiple times, this happens.

Hi,
On the beginning of 2024, I set up a new storage server for my work using ZFS and Samba on Proxmox. I added to the ZFS pool a "special" vdev, which gives a really good performance when the 40TB (around 50 Million files) of data are backed up, as the file metadata can be analysed very quickly thanks to the special vdev.
The storage server is very busy and daily used. So, the special device becomes more and more full, of course. I have now an usage of 137GB and 85GB free on the special...

Hi
I would like to know what file is responsible for the column order in the different menu setting of prox ? More specifically, i want to change the order of the pve/network : to have it display the order and only :
name - comment - active - port/slaves - CIDR - Autostart.
I dig a lot in the file system, but never find the place..

Looks like I have messed up something while trying to passthrough AMD GPU to Jellyfin. Now the boot screen is stuck at "Found volume group "pve" using metadata type lvm2". However the system can be accessed through web access without any issues. How can this be rectified?

I would like to make a product request: would Proxmox be able to modify the PBS Code to deliver a ZFS over ISCSI pool? call it simply Proxmox Storage server. it doesn't have to be "HA" as it could use the "ZFS Replication" from the Truenas scale code. maybe even a merge of the truenas scale code and this

Hello,
I have multiple Windows 11 24H2 guests with virtio-win-0.1.266 drivers installed, and QEMU agents.
Virtualization of all sorts is enabled in server BIOS, and CPU is set to host for these virtual machines, as to ensure that they can nest virtual machines inside due to business requirements.
Still, I cannot enable Credential Guard, - virtualization-based security seems unable to enable, confirmed by msinfo, where it states that VBS is "Enabled but not running", despite being forced...

Ich betreibe Proxmox auf einer i5-13500 CPU.
Für Tests habe ich mir 2 VMS angelegt mit gleichen Einstellungen. Eine mit Windows Server 2022 und eine mit Windows Server 2025.

Moin,
ich würde gerne für kleinere Kunden einen HA Cluster mit 2 Nodes und ohne QDevice aufbauen.
Aktuelle habe ich nur einen 2 Node Cluster ohne HA im Einsatz. Das funktioniert sehr gut. In einem Disasterfall müssen halt die VMs auf dem Backup Node per Shell aktiviert werden. Es müssen die Hüllen der VMs in das Node2 Verzeichnis verschoben werden. I run a Dell server with 2x 600 GB SSD in a hardware raid 1 config and 3x 12 TB HDD in a software raid 5 config. Hi ,
I just added second nvme 1Tb to proxmox server. System boots up norammly no beeps no issues. However when it reached to proxmox screen for roo password it stays there for few seconds then goes blank and stops. I also notied the attched LAn card also do not blink at all. However once i removed the second nvme it work fine.
However its new nvme drive and BIOS detects it and dnt seem any issues with it .
Any work around or settgins please feel free to share.

Mit der neuen PBS Version kann man ja Backups zu Remotes pushen, jedoch möchte ich nur verschlüsselte Backups übertragen da es sich um ein offsite Backup handelt. Die alten unverschlüsselten Backups würde ich auch ungern löschen müssen.
Eine Option um nur verschlüsselte Backups zu pushen wäre toll.

I have a 3-node Proxmox cluster with ZFS replication and migration of VMs setup. Recently I used the following to allow copy and paste into the VM consoles from the Proxmox web gui:

The uid and gid making that you need to do in the .conf file is one of the most esoteric things in its complexity. It's also quite error-prone.
My suggestion is that, under resources in the proxmox ve gui, you can simply map lxc user to host user (and groups) via user name. It would give you a list of existing users on host and lxc but also allow typing in ones that don't exist. It then runs all the necessary commands on the host and config in the. Curious if there are VirtIO drivers available for Windows98 or even older versions like 95 or even 3.11, and also just general drivers for stuff like display, mouse, keyboard etc. I installed Windows 98 just for fun and nostalgia but the cursor keeps loosing sync with console making it hard to use. Ex: my real cursor won't correspond with the one in the OS, so I keep hitting edge of window with real one before the one in OS gets there, and of course display is stuck at low res too. Curious...
