Hallo,

ich habe ein kurzes Anliegen: Wie verhält sich das mit den Multiqueues genau?

Wenn ich eine VM mit installierten OPNsense habe und dort meinetwegen 3-4 NIC konfiguriert. Meine VM hat 2 Cores und 8Gb RAM.

Laut Doku soll die maximale Anzahl der Queues nicht die Anzahl der konfigurierten vCores der VM übersteigen. Gilt das dann in Summe für alle NIC oder für jede einzeln?

Wenn ich drei NIC jeweils zwei Queues zuweise, müssen es dann 6 vCores sein oder reichen dennoch 2?

Hi everyone,

Could someone tell me why I don't have the "Notifications" setting in the menu panel in 3.3-0 PBS whil I have it with a 3.2-3 PBS and a 3.3.2S ?



The mails are configured and I received them but on don't want all of them.

I have a user on my cluster that I want to give permission to edit their own vnet firewall rules. I created a separate SDN zone for them as I don’t see a way to give permissions on just a single vnet. I can give them permission to use that SDN zone, but I can’t find a way to give them access to the firewall rules…

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hey everyone
I'm trying to get the smart testing working for my hard drives on my truenas vm after some research I found out I had to pass through the controllers for the hard drives to make it work the only walk through i have been able to find are pass-through with a pcie card. I was wondering if there was a way to passthrough off the sata ports on my mother board? Sorry if in not making since I'm new to this and trying to figure it out as I go. Thanks for any help

I have one PVE with four VMs that runs 24/7. PBS is installed on a VM in a TrueNAS server that is not running 24/7 - it's on my media NAS so is running some evenings.

How to do I have PBS trigger backups of the VMs when it is running, rather than having backup jobs on PVE that fail if the PBS host is not running?

I'm hoping this is possible. I'd like to trigger the backup 'pull' jobs once per day on start up of PBS.
Maybe it's possible to create a datacenter level backup job on PVE and...

When installing the guest agent on some servers we are encountering this error when attempting to install the Guest Agent.

"Service 'QEMU Guest Agent' (QEMU-GA) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privelleges to start system services." This kills the installer and it rolls back. If we do not cancel the installation we can interact with the service, and retry. Still will not start and shows the same error.

i messed up my Proxmox with own createt SSL and can´t acces the gui anymore. I changed:

instead of

Hi there,

Is it possible to boot a proxmox installation (installed on a usb stick) and run it in RAM (ramdisk, tmpfs, etc.) like VMware ESXi does?

I thought about something like:

• load from usb
• create fs in RAM
• copy from usb to RAM
• work on fs in RAM
• write back all content to usb on shutdown

Von meinem Lexmark-MFG XC2326 kann ich auf Freigaben im Netzwerk scannen, ebenso problemlos. as the title says, we have one server where the gui will hang up / become unreachable by the cluster manager under certain specific workloads.

Hallo,

hat hier jemand schon Erfahrungen mit Veeam Backup für Proxmox gemacht?
Ich habe das ganze seit dem Release von Veeam 12.2 eigentlich mehr oder weniger Problemlos im Einsatz nur
in letzte Zeit häufen sich bei mir Probleme das die Worker nicht mehr korrekt starten und im Zustand VM Starting hängen bleiben..




Wenn ich den Task händisch beende startet der Worker in der Regel wieder normal hat jemand ne Idee wo ich hier auf Fehlersuche gehen
könnte?
