Fujitsu Eternus DX100 s3

Hallo,

ich habe eine alte DX100S3 und 2 Hosts per FiberChannel verbunden, die lun auf der Eternus wird von beiden Hosts als sdb erkannt.
Verbindung war voher schon für 2 ESXI-Hosts vorhanden. Hier hat sich ja das vmfs um den multizugriff gekümmert.

wie bekomme ich hier in Proxmox ein shared Speicher hin?
Ich kann momentan nur entweder von Host1 oder von Host2 arbeiten.

Das Cluster habe ich bereits erstellt.

Data corruption in Windows Server VM

Hello,

I ran into a strange data corruption issue which I need help with. The VM in question is Windows Server 2016 Standard, used primarily as a file server.

On this VM, I found files which could not be read or copied anymore, not even on the VM itself. I only get "the file is unreadable or damaged" - something I would expect from a defect physical disk. No EMail when backkup job finisched

I have two backup jobs, one daily backup 2 VMs runs fine every night send finished often, but sometimes to another not existing target, what resulst in mailer error no such recipient.
The second job for more VMs runs every sunday night, runs fine but no EMAil at all, no delivery failure.

Hello,

We purchased a server setup with 24 NVMes and GRAID card. We planned to use VMware and NVMe-OF, but as this option's support id being delayed by GRAID team, we decided to try to migrate to proxmox completely.

Proxmox is supported by GRAID (currently VE7 and they are limited to 5.x kernel with their driver).

We want to create fast and reliable setup. So my ideal plan is something like this:

Proxmox + NVMeOF is that possible

Hello community,

We have recently bought a SAN that provides NVMeOF (NVMe Over Fabric) and we can now export "LUNs" as NVMe disks.

The SAN and the Proxmox nodes are linked through Ethernet controller: Mellanox Technologies MT27800 Family [ConnectX-5].

After installing all the required drivers, we can see the NVMeOF disk on the nodes.

I've recently noticed an error in the backup process of my Proxmox VE (v7.4-18) + BS server, following a power supply interruption (due to stormy weather). The exact message says

3 Node Cluster stopped syncing

My 3 node cluster had been running for at least a year with no issues. I moved house a few months ago and the home lab was down for a while. I brought it up on a new Switch environment and had to mess around a bit on the new switch to get LACP correctly configured. However everything was up an running.

Then all of a sudden (yes I know its not how computers work) one of the nodes lost sync and dropped off of the cluster and I was getting messages in the log:

Cluster Node lost connection

I have a 2-Node Cluster with a Qdevice. It worked fine for quite a long time, however, suddenly the VMs on Node 2 get a "?" and the node "unkown".

BUT I can access the VMs/Shell/disks/zfs/EVERYTHING of Node 2from the webgui of Node 1.
I already rebooted the nodes.
I can ping node 2 from 1 and vice versa.

I have a question about HA issues of LXC's happening after the upgrade of Proxmox VE from version 7.4-18 to 8.2.2.
We have multiple Debian 12 LXC's running on our PVE clusters, One PVE cluster as a development environment and one as a production environment.

These quit working with the shift to linux kernel 6.*. I reported initially here, but no luck with any of the PVE8 kernels either. I am currently using the last 5.15.108-1-pve kernel successfully otherwise software is latest pve8. Bringing this up again because I have been following along with similar complaints from a VyOS router forum and so far nothing has worked for those reporting issues there either. I have a PBS system (latest v2.1-1 with kernel 5.13.19-4-pve) running with ZFS raidz2 on a ProLiant DL380 Gen9 server (Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v4 @ 2.10GHz, 1 socket with 8 cores + 2 threads per core AKA 16 CPUs).
The system also has pve-qemu-kvm v6.1.1-1 installed (from http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pve), to execute vma create for restoring VMs for direct (import) usage in PVE environments.

Can't add more than one port to bond

Hello everyone,

I just tried to create a bond with multiple interfaces but I can't add more than one interface to the bond.

I add interface enp217s0f2np2 to tghe bond and the interface is accepted. If add a second interface enp217s0f2np3 the message

HAllo,

wir würden gerne die Blocksize unseres Stores auf 64K anpassen.
Aktuell ist es auf 16K und es wird unmengen an Speicher belegt der nicht benutzt werden kann.

Wie ändere ich das im "laufenden Betrieb" am besten ab?
