plötzlich höhere CPU-Last bei allen Linux-VMs?!

Hallo, seit dem letzten PVE-Update (bei mir am Mittwoch so um 18 Uhr eingespielt) wird bei allen Linux-VMs plötzlich eine deutlich höhere CPU-Auslastung angezeigt:

Problem with the VNet Firewall

Hello Everyone,

i currently want to try out the SDN Feature and the complimentary VNet Firewall
whilst the SDN seems to be working perfectly the VNet Firewall doesnt block

The specific problem I encounter is that I have 2 SDN VNets defined: VMNet and mgmNet
I want to be able to manage the VMs in the VMNet VNet via the mgmNet, but the traffic to mgmNet must be blocked.

Well I am able to ping my VM in the mgmNet from my VMNet LXC

I am having a very strange problem with firewalling a VM, which is a virtual PBX. I've spent a bit of time troubleshooting this and I simply cannot figure out what is happening. I consider myself pretty well-versed in PVE and FW, literally hundreds of VMs across a few clusters, many with complex firewall setups that work just fine. I've made this issue as basic as I can. This is a Linux VM with a VirtIO network card.

Migration Problem

Hi guys
Today I've found out that I need to update my nodes and reboot them. In order to prevent downtime in my production servers, I was live migrating VMs one by one to other nodes in my cluster.

and migration problem occurred while migrating two of my VMs. They got rebooted and we experienced 2 minutes of downtime.
I've just found this in error log as "migration problem"

We recently uploaded a 6.11 kernel into our repositories. The current 6.8 kernel will stay the default on the Proxmox VE 8 series, the newly introduced 6.11 kernel is an option.
The 6.11 based kernel may be useful for some (especially newer) setups, for example if there is improved hardware support that has not yet been backported to 6.8.

Reinstalling proxmox and ceph - keeping osd

Hello,

I wish to rebuild a host with a new installation of proxmox and ceph. Is it possible to "out" the osd, reinstall, and then "in" the osd? Is it that simple? I could destroy the osd do the reinstall and then rebuild the osd from replication , but I am trying not to do that.

Any suggestions, thoughts or cautions on this proceedure.

I was just trying to update my node using the apt package manager and got this message:

Code: 
Removable bootloader found at '/boot/efi/EFI/BOOT/BOOTX64.efi', but GRUB packages not set up to update it!
Run the following command:

echo 'grub-efi-amd64 grub2/force_efi_extra_removable boolean true' | debconf-set-selections -v -u

Then reinstall GRUB with 'apt install --reinstall grub-efi-amd64'

Hello everyone! I have a PBS running locally on my client and a PBS running on OVH to receive a copy of the data from the local PBS.
In this environment I currently have 8 VMs, of the 8 machines 7 are smaller than the PBS and can push the VMs without any problems, however the largest of them all is a SQL Server with 2 2TB disks, it gives this error and I have been unable to pull the backups from there since the 6th:

I'd like to set a default permissions group to my openid connect users. That way I can onboard users in one location and have a default restricted set of permissions in proxmox.

2 x Windows Hyper-V 2019 und darauf sind 3 VMs (Windows 2019 DC, Windows 2019 mit Exchange 2019, Windows 2019 Datev mit MS SQL Server)
Datensicherung mit Veeam B&R 12
Veeam repliziert alle VMs jede Stunde und sichert auch jede Stunde die VMs auf die NAS, weiter geht jeden Abend eine Sicherung in die AWS S3 Cloud

Ich möchte dieses System gerne mit einem Proxmox Cluster mit 3 Nodes und einem BPS auf einer UGREEN NAS ersetzen und eine INETT PBS Cloud Backups...

How to recover broken Proxmox disk. Rescue Boot not working

Hey lovely Proxmox community,

this is my first post and I new to Proxmox. Still learning all the ins and outs of it. My first installation won't boot up anymore and gets stuck at "mounting fuse control file system".
Using a USB stick with Rescue Boot gets stuck in the same place. I also removed all boot arguments and just used "nomodeset"
I assume something on the disk broke because of a hard reset. The disk is using GPT with LVM file system. I am currently on a fresh install of Proxmox...

Tried to update, but it fails and goes to Grub prompt.

Good day to everyone,

I went to go update one of my proxmox servers through the GUI today and got this msg.

"Starting system upgrade: apt-get dist-upgrade
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

System not fully up to date (found 30 new packages)

starting shell"

It then goes to the shell and I type 'dpkg --configure -a'... and it hangs and reboots my system i to the Grub shell.

What have I done wrong?! Any help would be appreciated...

can't lock file '/var/lock/qemu-server/lock-104.conf' - got timeout

I'm using Veeam 12.3 to backup VMs on Proxmox, to do that Veeam is using a worker VM. Every couple of days backup fails as the worker can't be found:
Failed to prepare the worker <WORKERNAME>: Failed to synchronize configuration settings of the worker <WORKERNAME> can't lock file '/var/lock/qemu-server/lock-104.conf' - got timeout;

If I look at Proxmox, I can see the worker VM still has a status of starting. Only way to fix that is run 'systemctl restart pvedaemon' from the Proxmox...
