Could not connect to ceph storage

I followed the proxmox wiki and as described created 3 ubuntu servers. Ceph is installed and the cluster is working fine.
But, I cannot connect to ceph cluster after configuring as per the wiki.
Here is the output of the status when ran from ubuntu server1

I am still getting rbd error: rbd: couldn't connect to the cluster! (500)
