Hello,

I have searched around on the forum but I think that I am still missing something.

User gets "Permission check failed (403)" dialog when trying to restore an openVZ backup to an storage for which he has Datastore.Allocate permission.

My configuration files are as follows:

/etc/pve/user.cfg:
Code:

user:root@pam:1:0:::::
user:username@pve:1:0:::username@domain.com::

role:PVEDatastorePowerUser:Datastore.AllocateTemplate,Datastore.Allocate,Datastore.Audit,Datastore.AllocateSpace:

acl:1:/storage/backup:username@pve:PVEDatastorePowerUser:
acl:1:/storage/local:username@pve:PVEDatastorePowerUser:
acl:1:/vms/194006:username@pve:PVEVMUser:

/etc/pve/storage.cfg:
Code:

dir: local
        path /var/lib/vz
        content images,iso,vztmpl,backup,rootdir
        maxfiles 0

dir: backup
        path /mnt/backup
        content backup
        maxfiles 5

pveversion -v
Code:
