After reading the online documents. I know that Proxmox VE has its own kernel. However, the manufacturer of my HBA PCIe card provides only the drivers that match the Debian original kernel.
I plan to install Proxmox VE 8.0 which comes with kernel version "6.2.16-3-pve". The HBA PCIe card driver is for "6.1.0-9".
Will the installation fail If I install Proxmox VE packages without first installing Proxmox VE Kernel?
