Hi, I am planning to put a proxmox server in a collocation data-center. I have 18 locations at work. I want to create 18 asterisk freepbx openvz servers on the proxmox located at the datacenter.
I want to achieve the following.
I will just configure the IP phones with the WAN IP address of the Asterisk freepbx running as openvz containers. So, I can see the following problems.
I would appreciate some ideas on how to do this?
Thanks in advance.
I want to achieve the following.
I will just configure the IP phones with the WAN IP address of the Asterisk freepbx running as openvz containers. So, I can see the following problems.
- Since Proxmox is in the cloud, I want to protect it from hacking. (How do I do that?)
- All the asterks based openvz containers will also have WAN IP address, I want to protect it from hacking. I can use IPTABLES, but still it can be prone to SIP attack (How do I pretect it?)
- Is there a way to assign private IP (eg 192.168.x.x) to the openvz to multiple containers on the same proxmox sever and still manage the clients to connect using WAN IP (I dont know if this is possible? If there are any thoughts, please let me know)
- I want to do this without having to create VPN tunnels. (Is this possible?)
I would appreciate some ideas on how to do this?
Thanks in advance.
