All attempts at running a console or connecting vnc clients fail, running v3.1 in nagware mode with no-supscription updares enabled, but this was not working from before updates where applied.
This used to work, now for some unknown unknown reason no browser on mac os or on 13.10 Ubuntu with Oravle 7u45 java will work.
I tried running nc and qm vncproxy on various ports and connecting via chicken-of-the-vnc and realvnc clients to no avail.
The proxmox activity log shows error with the ever descriptive -1 error that thousands of developers have worked to attempt to eradicate from unix systems for decades /sarcasm.
I shut down the kvm and started it on the command line with -vnc unix:/blah... without x509 or silly passwords expecting that to work but qm vncproxy still dies giving only the -1- salute.
In my mind, I see myself in front of a doctor saying doc, it hurts when I do this (proxmox), and you know what the virtual advise will be...
But lets not do that. Lets see if a competent technical resource with 25 years unix/linux experience can sort this out - with a little help from his (forum) friends.
This is a (frustrated) cry for help.
