Redhat: Bug 948017 - VSS support for qemu-ga-win

From my reading of it the hosting making a snapshot only has to send the "guest-fsfreeze-thaw" command to the guest, which I suspect proxmox already does, if so we would have vss support in windows with the latest windows agent.
Can the devs confirm that one way or another?
