Hello everybody, maybe someone can help us.
The problem is that some users have to connect to customers VPNs, which blocks our network drives etc. The solution was that the users use VMware Web Access to connect to the VMs and from the VMs they connect to the VPNs.
The users are still connected with their "real" computers on our network and have access to the network drives etc.
But VMware Server is no longer supported and we tried Hyper-V 2012 Server. But the users have to start the Hyper-V Manager with admin rights to see the server/VMs. But we don't want to give the user admin rights.
We would like to know if it is possible to access a VM (on a proxmox server) via a console / virtual monitor without a manager tool? Or is there a manager tool for promox server which is adaptable?
For example, a normal user (no admin/root) can only connect to a vm or log out of the vm, but cant shutdown or restart a vm.
