Change postmaster domain name

When I setup a notification email (Notify Sender action object) , the email is sent out with the envelope email address postmaster@pmg.mydomain.com, which is my PMG's hostname. I want it to use just the domain name, not the hostname, such as postmaster@mydomain.com. When the system uses the hostname and it sends out the notification to a Gmail email address, it is being rejected because of Gmail's SPF requirement. We have an SPF record on mydomain.com but not pmg.domain.com...
