Proxmox HA and storage

Hi,

i'm actually installing proxmox 3 and i have some questions about HA and storage.
Actually i have installed proxmox on the first server and now i need to add the storage
for the cluster. Reading docs leave me with some questions.

I'd like to know if proxmox can manage the following configuration.

First server
4 hard disks sata 1tb
3 hard disks sas 146Gb

3 Virtual disks provided by controller.
VDisk1: 750 Gb on raid 5 pool of sata disks. (proxmox is installed here)
Vdisk2: 2TB on raid 5 pool of sata disks.
Vdisk3: 270 Gb on raid 5 pool of sas disks.

Second server (actually in production with w2k8 as primary OS with Vmware server installed.
This server will be reconverted to proxmox after testing of primary server.

3 hard disks sata 2tb
8 hard disk sas 146Gb on a storage enclosure connected via external scsi cable.

The VDisks will be made according to config of first server.

My questions:

can HA of proxmox use this kind of storage ? The idea is to use DRDB to sync
storages form the first server (VDisk2 and VDisk3) to the second server.
Is this config supported by proxmox ? Are there requirements for DRDB, LVM, Partitions and so on ?

First server have a controller supporting only write through. Is proxmox able to perform os level caching or
performance will be poor ?

For clustering needs and performance, what kind of disk should have a w2k8 guest ? ide, scsi, sata or virtio ?
And finalty the file format fot guest disks should be raw or qcow2 ?

Thanks a lot for every help.
