All VM stuck on boot

So one of the VM was restoring from a PBS.
It has many and large virtual disks. So taking days to restore.
During restoring, auto backup of running VM to pbs kicks in. All failed.
After force stop and start again.
Now VM all console stuck at this on boot.
terminal drops to (initramfs)
Any help appreciated.
