Using Proxmox and SAS Switch

Has anyone tried using a SAS Switch with multiple servers connected? Would this be a good way to provide live migration from box A to box B ? And even failover if a particular server dies completely?

I am curious as I just learned about SAS Switching today. I've been wanting a better way than a NAS over 1gb ethernet.
