template differences?

I've been lurking while using proxmox for a while; but I never had anything to contribute..

Is there a major difference between centos-6.x86.tar.gz (from openvz) and centos-6-standard_6.3-1_i386.tar.gz (from proxmox)?

I noticed that I have some CTs running with the two different..
