Basic setup for proxmox host computer then NAS on same network

I want to install proxmox on a host computer but then use my separate NAS for archiving. How do I get this generally setup? I've read about NFS.

Host computer will be running vms for frigate, home assistant, opm/truenas

Host computer has 1 ssd for proxmox and another for the VMs

The physical nas has two HDDs
