SPAM detection

Hello everyone
I installed PMG a few weeks ago and really like it.
However, I can't get it to recognize real garbage as SPAM.
I collect the mails and learn them as SPAM with the sa-learn script, but I still don't see any real progress.
Is there another way to define SPAM as such?
