Steps to migrate Proxmox to a new (larger) M.2 disk

I'm currently running Proxmox VE 6.4-15, which is no logger supported, on a 1TB M.2 SSD. I have 8 VMs on the M.2 SSD along with 60TB ZFS storage (cluster of HDs separate from the M.2 SSD). I want to move my Proxmox installation to a larger 2TB M.2 SSD and install PVE 8. I've been searching online for how to migrate but haven't found anything I have confidence in. I've reviewed steps to upgrade PVE from 6 to 7, and from 7 to 8, but I'm not sure if/how I can upgrade 6 to 8 directly. Can...
